“We met by fate.. ♡We were both at a bar we didn’t want to be at, we happened to sit next to each other and had little to talk about. Anabel was the initiator, she was so funny and so smart that I, Phil, decided to give in and just roll with having a good time. Anabel was actually being pursued by another that night and I could tell she was too nice to tell guy to go away because he happened to be here tenant at the apartment place she was working at. She left to use the restroom and I could the guy was hovering so I decided to intervene. I witnessed her come out and he was harassing her so I had to save the day. I pulled my cape out, asked Anabel if she was ready to go and took her by her arm before she had said yes. She looked relieved and mesmerized by my action. The rest was history.

Kelly and Joseph | Wedding Highlight

We met at Joey’s house, the surf house in North PB, at the very end of college. We both went to UCSD, though he did a 5th year. We had hung out another time or 2, but always with a large group of people. Then a year later we ran into each other at Outside Lands in San Francisco. We hung out a lot that day, and I was the one that asked him for his number. He was the first one to wish me happy birthday at midnight that night (besides my sister and friend I was with). Joey then had an “extra ticket” to a show in San Diego a couple weeks later, and I happened to be down there that same weekend. So our first “date” was the Handsome Furs at the Casbah. Then he had another ticket to another show, and by the third, he finally kissed me, and we’ve been together ever since, even when I moved to Hawaii for almost a year right as we started dating.

Kelly and Joseph were married at the Martin Johnson House in La Jolla, where the two attended college together.

Lindsay and Shaun’s Ceremony ♡Lindsay and Shaun’s romantic wedding ceremony took place at the seashore of Catamaran Hotel, Scripps Seaside Forum in San Diego, California. The couple stood back-to-back holding hands together before sharing a private pre-weddding moment. The setting of the wedding was classic with soft tones. Lindsay walked down the aisle with her one arm around her father’s hand to become the lawfully wedded wife of Shaun. She held a bouquet of white roses in her hand which blended well with her bride dress. With soft music playing in the background, the couple took vows to grow old side-by-side as loving best friends.
